'Lottery' to hit silver screen in Nowruz

Fajr Film Festival participant movie 'Lottery' is slated to be screened in Iranian cinemas during Nowruz.

Directed by Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian, the film will hit the silver screen during Nowruz holidays in Persian calendar.

“Amirali and Nooshin want to get married but their families disagree. They decide to remain patient. They have dreams about winning US Foreign Ministry lottery for Green Card,” a short synopsis of the flick read.

To give his audience a mental image, Mahdavian says that his movie is about protective men. He explains how this theme is dominant in his new work. The protagonist of the movie is in pursuit of finding the right way and to do the right thing.
